Our amazing room has become a busy beehive of activity and creativity over the last few weeks of the year, with most of the children having turned two and progressing in their development and skills.
We have completed and achieved some wonderful learning experiences: sensory play, imagination and role modelling activities, painting and craft projects, and exploration in the amazing outdoor environment.
We celebrated Nutrition Week, Grandparents Day and Remembrance Day. The children have enjoyed outdoor picnics, dance parties and building cubby houses within the room with sheets and pegs.
The children have come a long way in recognising their colours and animals and starting to count numbers; they have also progressed in following instructions and interacting with their friends. This has been wonderful to see and be part of each week.
As the year ends, we are concentrating on finishing our learning and play experiences and celebrating the Christmas season—many craft and sensory activities for the children to participate in or create for families to take home.
We wish every one of our families a very Merry Christmas and a Fantastic New Year. May God’s Peace, Love and Blessings be upon you all.
