Ten students from Year 6 recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in the second Young Writers Workshop held at the State Library of Western Australia in Perth.
During the workshop, students met with local author Chenee Maripodi, who guided them through another engaging and enterprising writing session. Through a range of creative activities and discussions, students were encouraged to explore their imagination, develop their storytelling skills, and build confidence in their writing abilities.
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for students to learn from a published author while collaborating with other young writers from across the region. Our students represented the school wonderfully and should be commended for their enthusiasm, creativity, and participation throughout the day.
