Students are also encouraged to commence work on their Book Week costumes, to be worn to school on Friday the 2 September. This competition was run for the first time last year and the standard of costumes was exceptional, with a number of students working on their outfits for many weeks leading up to the event. To be in the running to win some fantastic prizes, students are invited to dress up as their favourite fictional book character.
