In Term 2 and 3, Andy Newcombe from Southlight Media came in to help our Year 10 Screen & Media class create a short film. 

Students learnt about the various roles in filmmaking and were then able to try them out during a two-day filming session.  During a whole class brainstorming, the story was created and refined.  The film is about the strange adventure Mia and Lachlan find themselves as they enter The Lift. 

During October and November ‘The Lift’ will be showing at Ace Cinema in Rockingham as part of the Rock the Boat Film Festival.
