Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to the Samaritans Purse Shoe Box Appeal this year.

It is very encouraging to know that we’re apart of such a caring community who love beyond the boundaries of their own families.

As a school community South Coast Baptist College students and families donated 225 shoe boxes, plus over $350 in cash.

When we add this to the 362 shoe boxes from Rockingham Baptist Church families we sent off a total of 587 from our community – which is a FABULOUS effort.

Again – thank you to every family who contributed.

The Shoe Box Appeal is a ministry of the Samaritans Purse who work with some of our world’s most poverty-stricken families.

The gift of a shoe box is most often the only present these children will ever receive. This Christmas 587 children will be blessed with gifts from our College/Church community and along with that hear the good news of Jesus this Christmas. To find out more about the work of Samaritans Purse visit their website.
