Congratulations to our two debating teams this year who entered the Inter-regional debating competition. Both teams performed very well and earning honours to compete in the finals. Our Novice team made up of four Year 8 students, made it to the Semi-Finals where they put on the debate of the tournament so far and narrowly missed out on progressing by 2 points.
Our Junior Team made up of four Year 9 students, won their Semi-Finals but unfortunately lost by 1 point in the Grand Final. Students learned valuable communication and life skills throughout the debate that will serve them well both in and outside the classroom.
