In year 11 and 12 General Engineering Studies there is a focus on the practical skills relating to the design and production of technology products.
In semester one of this year our students focused on the design and production of radio controlled quadcopters. Utilising the latest technologies in 3D Computer Aided Design and 3D Printing the students designed and produced their own quadcopter frames.
After installing the electronics and setting up the control system all of the students succeeded in flying their quadcopters around the school oval.
