On Thursday, 25th of May, Year 5 and 6 students were selected to compete at the CPSSA Interschool Basketball Carnival.
Our girls’ team had an outstanding performance, remaining undefeated throughout the day. Their teamwork and dedication were truly commendable. However, the grand finals brought an intense, nail-biting finish, with our girls narrowly losing by just one point. We couldn’t be prouder of their efforts and the way they represented our school.
Our boys’ team also showcased their remarkable abilities by securing four wins out of six matches. They displayed fantastic teamwork, a growth mindset, sportsmanship and skill. Although they were eliminated in the grand finals, they should be praised for their hard work and perseverance.
It’s great to see the increasing interest in basketball for girls and boys throughout the Primary School years.
