The Year 12 Design Photography students recently visited AQWA (The Aquarium of Western Australia) as part of their project to create posters for bus stops promoting AQWA. The purpose of the trip was to capture photographs of marine life at AQWA for use in their poster designs.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to explore AQWA’s exhibits and photograph various marine creatures, including sharks, stingrays, turtles, and tropical fish. The aquarium provided an inspiring setting for the students to showcase their photography skills.
They gained insights into the unique marine ecosystem of Western Australia and developed a deeper appreciation for the underwater world. Back in the classroom, the students utilised their experiences and photographs to create posters that highlight the beauty and wonders of AQWA.
Below are some examples of their final work.
