The WA State Government has announced a cost-of-living relief initiative to support school families. The WA Student Assistance Payment (WASAP) provides financial support directly to eligible parents and caregivers to help with schooling costs:

 • $150 per Kindergarten and primary school student.

 • $250 per secondary school student.
