SCBC Secondary Inter-house Athletics Carnival was held on Monday, 17th August. On a stormy and blustering day, our Secondary students and staff members braved the wet and windy conditions with smiles and a general great attitude. In fact, the atmosphere was so positive that for the first time the Des Mitchell Spirit award was awarded to all students present.
A huge thank you to all our secondary staff who continue to invest in our students and a special thank you to Miss Phoebe and her Physical Education team who continue to run great events for our students to discover their God given gifts.
The champion house and medal winners will be announced at the following 2 assemblies. Awards for Yr 10-12 will be given at the assembly on Thursday, 17th September, and awards for Yr 7-9 will be given the following assembly on Thursday, 24th September.
The top athletes that performed on the day were invited to our ACC Athletics carnival that was held on the 7th of September.
